Lubricate the nut slots with lithium grease molybdenum disulfide or similar. In our shop you will find this product.

Make sure that the angle of fall of the strings in the headstock is the lowest possible, it is no necessary the rotate the string several times around the tuner.

In some cases, such as on the sixth and fifth strings, it’s the recommended that the string is only turned completely and that it comes out over the anchorage of the turner.

If you are using string tree device, we also recommend lubricating then, especially on the vintage type models.

Make sure that the springs are equivalent to the string gauge you use. Remember that the whole system interacts. Even if you can feel that a string is out of tune, another one may be the cause of it.
